We encourage you to schedule a free and confidential Options Counseling appointment. You’ll meet with a supportive team member privately to review every option. At your appointment, you’ll receive:

- The space to ask questions.
- Community referrals, services, and resources.
Your Other Options
You do have two other options besides an abortion: parenting your child or placing them for adoption. Both require you to carry your pregnancy to full term.
Parenting
Your initial thought may be “No way. I’m not ready to be a parent!” We understand. Parenting is challenging, but just because your pregnancy was unexpected doesn’t mean it’s impossible to parent.
Ramona Women’s Clinic provides essential parenting services, like educational opportunities and material assistance. Additionally, we can provide referrals to several community organizations for help with housing, groceries, utilities, etc.

Adoption
Adoption is another option to consider. Yes, choosing to place your child for adoption is a difficult decision, but sometimes, the hardest decisions we make turn out to be the best.
If you’re not ready to parent, but don’t want to have an abortion, adoption is an excellent alternative. Unlike abortion, you can still have a relationship with your child as they grow.
Some of the benefits of adoption include selecting the adoptive parents who raise your child, choosing the amount of contact you wish to have as they grow, and receiving all medical and legal expenses.
Placing your child costs you nothing. Adoption coordinators provide their services free of charge to expectant and birth mothers. Although we are not a licensed child-placing agency, we can provide referrals.
